Isaac's 7th grade band concert
(This was after the concert, so he already loosened his tie!!)
And apparently the videos are too long to post, so I have to play around to see what I need to do
Abby's Winter recital 2011
So yesterday made Abby's 3rd recital for her piano and vocal. It's hard to believe she's been in lessons for about a year and a half now! She played The First Noel on the piano, then she sang Jingle Bell Rock and Hodie Christus Natus Est (which in English means Today Christ is born). It was a little hard to hear her on Jingle Bell Rock, she had to stand next to her teacher to double check the words, but all in all she did splendid!!
Well, for some reason it will only let me upload 1 of the videos, so I'll have to try something else to post the other 2:(

Abby's Winter Recital for Piano and Vocal
Abby had her Winter Recital yesterday. On the piano she played O Come All Ye Faithful and she sang In the Bleak Mid-Winter. She had a couple mistakes, but she did wonderful! At least three people came up after it was over and said they didn't think that big voice could come out of such a little girl and that she sounded beautiful. We are so proud of her! I couldn't get the video of her singing to upload, I'll have to try a different way later.

Nathaniel's football
So these are some clips from Nathaniel's game against Otsego. Both teams were undefeated going in to the game....Lake is still undefeated! After this game coach decided to make Nathaniel 1st string safety. I have to say I agree with his decision! (He is #40, lined up behind the ref)
This one you can't quite see the tackle, but he kept the guy out of the end zone.

Here are some pictures from the tornado that happened last night/early this morning. It hit the police department, 2 family members place of employment, the high school (which is connected to my kid's elementary and middle school) and also Millbury (a town down the road). The pictures we took were from our road about a mile south of our house.
