Jacob's Birthday-He's 6!!!

Jacob's birthday was this past Thursday, the 11th. We had his party Wednesday night and it was great. We had tamales, rice and beans for dinner and Grandma Connie made him a pineapple upside-down cake, which he has had picked out for his birthday cake for about a year now. Jacob also got a lot of help from Lily to open all his gifts. When we got home that night he told me he was very thankful for all the gifts he got (how sweet!).

Abby's Birthday-She's 8!!!

Abby's birthday was on Dec. 6th. She had a family party during the day and a sleepover with her friends that evening. She had 7 friends stay over, they all got to make their own pizza for dinner have cupcakes and rice krispy treats for dessert and smoothies for breakfast. A fun time was had by all (minus a couple emotional breakdowns at 3 a.m by some of her little friends!). She had a great time, but was exhausted the next day.

Lily's Birthday-She's 3!!!

Lily is officially 3 years old now, it's hard to believe. We celebrated after our Thanksgiving dinner. Here's a little bit from that night.

Halloween Pictures

Here are pictures of the kids from Halloween. Jacob was a Clone (from Star Wars), Isaac was a basketball player, Abby was a cowgirl and Nathaniel decided to go hunting with Papa instead of trick-or-treating. Jacob also had a parade at school.

The Big Hunter!!!

Last Sunday Nathaniel shot his first deer. He was in Southern Ohio and she was little, but it was a good shot, and we all were really excited for him. Great-grandma Achter got him a special picture frame for his milestone.

Jacob's First Field Trip

Today Jacob got to go on his first field trip. They went to the Country Lane Tree Farm in Genoa, OH. They got to have donuts and cider, go on a hay ride and pick their own pumpkin, ride on "the caterpillar" which is pulled by a 4-wheeler, hold baby ducks and chicks, go through a straw maze, learn about bees and feed goats. There were lots of animals to see either in their pens or just walking around. Cats, a dog, chickens, ducks and peacocks all got to roam around wherever they liked. It was chilly out, but we had a great time.

Gift from Grandma Gonzalez!

Here is a little video of the kids opening their halloween gift from Grandma Gonzalez!

Abby's Night of Cheerleading

Tonight Abby got to cheer at the football game. The theme was Hannah Montana...The Best of Both Worlds. The video of the halftime dance is too long to post, but here are some pictures and a little clip from the bleachers. They cheered on the bottom of the bleachers during the first quarter. The football game stunk (we were losing 42-0 at halftime), but the little cheerleaders were cute!

Lily's back!

Now that school is back in session, I get to watch Lily during the days. On Tuesday we went over to Papa Herrera's so Vince could help him with some work. While we were there we got to watch Noah for about an hour...He's so cute! So these are some pictures from the last couple of days and a video of Lily on the "bing" (swing).

Abby's earrings!

I forgot to post this, but Abby finally got her ears pierced! It only took about a year for her to gain the courage, but she finally did it. Grandma Connie took her to do it, and she ended up with all sorts of goodies from Claire's. She's almost at the end of her 6 weeks and she's so excited that she'll be able to change her earrings pretty soon. Only 5 more days....

Jacob's First Day of Kindergarten!

Today was Jacob's first day of school. I can't believe it's here already, he's growing up so fast! He was very excited to go and he really enjoyed it. Isaac and Abby were both excited that he got to ride the bus with them. So here's some pictures of today and a little video of him getting off the bus.
