Little Noah who isn't so little anymore...

Here's a couple new pictures of Noah who at just over 5 months old weighs in at 20 lbs. The picture of Abby holding him should show his adorable chunkiness. (Abby at 7 1/2 yrs old weighs in at a whopping 45 lbs.)

Trip to the Zoo with Tio and Anna

The kids got to go to the zoo yesterday with Tio Israel and Anna. The whole group came home exhausted, but they had a great time. So here are some pictures of the fun!

No Excuses

It has been forever since I've posted anything and I could give all sorts of reasons why, but I won't. Anyway, the kids go back to school August 19th. Jacob will be in Kindergarten, Abby in 2nd, Isaac in 4th and Nathaniel in 6th grade! I can't believe he is in middle school, the time has just flown by. The summer has been fun, no special trips, but we bought a trampoline and a swing for our tree. The kids have been enjoying them. Everything is about the same for Vince and me, still at the same jobs, but we did get a new van in May (Mother's Day). We have really enjoyed that.

Well here's some pictures!

Today the kids are at the Zoo with their Tio Iz and Anna. Hopefully I'll have some pictures of that later.

Our New Cousin

We have a new little cousin by the name of Noah Michael David Alaniz. He was born on Feb. 13th and he weighed 7 lbs 13 1/2 oz. Here's some pictures of him at the hospital with Mike and Izzy and then some pictures from our house.

Isn't he adorable?! The kids have been so excited to see him.

Today the kids don't have school because of a snow storm. If they have more days off, they'll have to make them up at the end of the year. Oh well.

It's Been a Long Time......

Well, it's been a long time since I've posted anything so I figured I should post some pictures. We've been keeping busy with things like Nathaniel's wrestling, Abby's cheerleading, Abby, Jacob and Isaac's birthdays and normal things like work and church.

Isaac made out on his birthday. He ended up with $116, toys and some new art projects. It was a good day for him. Abby will be doing another cheerleading dance tonight, this one is for the basketball game. I'll post pictures of that later. Nathaniel's wrestling season is finished now, he had a great time. One of his highlights is when he beat a kid that was 35 pounds heavier than him! Jacob has it the easiest. His days consist of schoolwork from mom, some cartoons and video games, playing with Lily when she's here and occasionally going out to lunch with Grandma Connie. His favorite place to go with Grandma is Anna's Restaurant where he always gets eggs, pancakes, sausage with a side of pickles and onion rings. Quite the combo isn't it?

We've also found out that next year Jacob will be going to Kindergarten all day, every day. I was expecting only half a day like it's always been, but they're changing this year. Oh well, I guess I have to let go some time.

I'll leave you with some pictures of the last couple of months to catch up!

Thanksgiving!

We had a full day on Thanksgiving. First we visited Grandma Connie and Papa Lind's at noon. We had a wonderful meal there. Uncle Jimmy was ready for a nap after that, but we had a ham by the name of Isaac that wouldn't let him nap for too long.

Great-Grandma Achter came and ate lunch with us too.

After that we went to Grandma and Papa Herrera's for another wonderful meal. When it came time for dessert, Lily got more than her fair share by going from Tia Nikki, to Tio Vince and then over to Anna and Tio Israel.

Then we got to go home for a little bit before we went to visit with family and have more desserts at Great-Grandma Achter's.

All in all it was a blessed day!

Catching up from Halloween

I'm finally finding the time to update and post some more pictures. I'll start with Halloween. The kids had fun going with Grandma Connie over to Great-Grandma Achter's neighborhood. Nathaniel opted to stay back with Papa to do some hunting back at Great-Grandma Lind's woods.
Jacob was dressed as a buff Batman, Abby as the adorable Tinkerbell and Isaac had a costume that completely fit his personality - Scooby Doo!

There are also pictures from Abby's parade at school. All the kids got to parade around Walbridge while Lily, Jacob, and I watched.
